CrossTrack 1 Bike Hitch Rack

It’s want I was looking for. Holds the bike great, with little to no movement. Easy to assemble and install. Will recommend to family and friends. HR paid attention to details of assembly and performance of this bike rack.

Picked up the 2” single bike version a couple months ago and have used it a few times since and I’ve been happy with it. I use it for my carbon full suspension and carbon fat bike with 4” tires and it works very well. Note, it will not accommodate anything larger than a 4” tire.

Can be a little tricky to take bike off the rack because you need two hands, one to push the red button in and the other to pull the arm back and out of the way all while trying to prevent your bike from falling off. What works best for me is lowering the front wheel arm first so I can roll the bike forward and off the tray.

I’m a little skeptical of the lateral wobble, so I secured the front wheel down to the tray with a wide Velcro strap and it really does the job and gives me peace of mind. Wish it was a few pounds lighter but the weight capacity makes up for it. I did purchase the Hollywood Racks valet system and it works beautifully and my back thanks me for it. $400 for a nice rack with wheel, cable, and hitch pin locks all keyed the same and a multitool, can’t beat that price. Lastly, the 2” version is tooless installation, which is very convenient. My Hope is that the plastic track that locks the arms in place along the side, will last the lifetime of the rack. Longevity is a question mark, but it appears to be well built and thought out.

I’ve had many other bike racks over the years - all good brands - but this is the best by far! It is incredibly sturdy and so compact that I’m just going to leave it on my car. I would definitely suggest the CrossTrack 1 for anyone who wants an easy to use ,sturdy, strong and great looking hitch rack.

For the price, it’s very good. Looks nice and build quality is good. Only complaint is it rattles. The anti-wobble keeps the rack secure in the reciceiver but where the rack pivots it’s loose and rattles.

Very sturdy bike rack. Was shipped in a timely fashion and good packaging. Easy to put together and install on my suv. Pricing was midrange compared to other racks on line. No need to waste money on more expensive models as this one is perfect for my e-bike.
